Following the explosive second season finale, the survivors find
themselves once again on the move, facing more threats and obstacles
than ever in a world increasingly hopeless and ravaged by walkers.
In Season 4 of The
Walking Dead, we see Rick and the group of survivors fostering a thriving
community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world,
happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for
danger brewing inside the fences. The group's home and new way of life will be
thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous.
Season 4 also introduces several new characters including Bob Stookey (Lawrence
Gilliard Jr., The Wire).
SEASON 5 Part A
Season Four of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate.
Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group's lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive.
Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them...
After all they've seen, all they've done, all they've sacrificed, lost, and held onto no matter what the cost... Who do they become?
It Returns Monday February 9 Same day as the U.S. on FX First on FOXTEL.
SEASON 5 Part B
After the tragic events of the mid-season finale -- as well as losing the possibility of a cure in Washington, DC — Rick Grimes’ band of survivors find themselves on the road, surviving day to day and trying to hold on to their shredded humanity and dwindling hope.
Stripped of security and without a direction for the future, some of the group near their breaking point, some find themselves hardened and cold and some just try to grasp on to what little they have left. Though they are still breathing, the line between Rick's group and the dead is starting to blur.
Could there be anything at this point that brings them back to life?
