About
When there are no further leads to a serial case, the FBI quickly turns
to the Behavioural Analysis Unit in Quantico. While regular detectives
study the evidence of a crime, this unit looks at the behaviour of the
criminal to narrow down the suspect pool. They hunt from the inside out –
not examining evidence in a lab, instead studying offenders’ behaviour
both at the scenes of the crimes and where they live or work in order to
see how they think. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise
to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their
emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them.
